The new web based front office Module

Magic.res is a new web based platform that enables booking of multi source content such as packages, vacation housing, bus travel, charter flights, car rental, hotels, insurance , cruises and of course Air content. Even the TUI-Products are available through a direct connection to IRISPlus. Magic.res offers content of 70 Tour operators via direct connect. Magic.res is a fully blown integrated and user friendly reservation system

The modular conception of the system enables integration and utilisation of third party systems of diverse travel content suppliers and booking engines such as Ypsilon.net, kreuzfahrten.de, Easy-Pax, GIATA, Aferry.de, Viewdata etc.) Apart from IRISPlus that must be installed once, Magic.Res is web based and works on all browsers. There is no need for local installation or hardware cost investment.

Printing of documents can be done on standard printers. The Magic.res user platform can be used with mouse click and keyboard, much information can be selected and displayed with easy search functionalities. Several special functions enable users to accomplish their daily task very easily: (Magnifying glass, calender etc.) Users can peruse availability and store booking requests with a mouse click for later usage. Descriptions and pictures of hotels are automatically blended in for every single available package.

A web based travel consulting tool with automatic aggregation of tour operator offers (packages, charter flights and component packaging) was integrated in Magic.res in cooperation with Easy-Pax. A complete Agency Manager processes all type of travel reservations at the level of the tour operator as well as at the level of the agency.

The sales process can be steered from the tour operator point of view as well as from the agency or sub-agency side. The Magic.res front office is fully integrated with the Etacs/Aurora mid and back office software; the bi-directional integration guarantees an optimal workflow. A service fee manager will be integrated shortly into Magic.res in order to manipulate directly charter flights and other travel content offers.

A brand new and unique feature of magic.res consists of the “multi send” function that enables the parallel availability search, display and selection of different tour operators. Magic.res represents a very cost effective and efficient way for travel content suppliers ( Tour operators, Consolidators, Airlines, Cruises, Insurance, car hotels etc.) to distribute their content to travel agencies directly and instantly. Magic.res is VPN/IP-enabled and its platform can connect to just about any type of interface.
